FSSC 22000 certification (Kumamoto Factory)
The straws we produce come into direct contact with mouth.
That is why they have to be safe and reliable. In order to deliver safe and reliable products, we have built and operated an ISO 9001 (QMS) compliant system that incorporates the HACCP method.
However, to meet the increasing needs in food safety inside and outside Japan, the Kumamoto Factory became the first straw manufacturer in Japan to obtain FSSC 22000, an international certification standard for food safety management systems, on September 10, 2021. Under this FSSC 22000 certification, we will continue to deliver world-class, safe and high quality straws under stricter hygiene control than ever before.
